His leadership extends far beyond his own company. He has served at the highest levels of both national and international publishing governance, representing Nigeria on the global stage and driving reforms that have modernised the country's book industry.
On August 23, 2025, the Nigerian literary community celebrated his 60th birthday with tributes from across the publishing world, recognising his transformative impact on the industry.
